Does the Foundry VTT Module already come with Digital Tokens and Digital Maps?
All actors and scenes in the Foundry VTT Module use the Digital Tokens and Digital Maps as their assets, so there is no need to install them separately within Foundry. However, if you would like the Digital Tokens and Digital Maps as standalone files for use outside of Foundry VTT, you will need to purchase them separately.

Is there a difference between the Standard Hardcover and the Limited Collector's Edition Hardcover?
The only difference is the cover. The contents of both books are identical.

How many Limited Collector's Edition Hardcover books will be made?
We will only be manufacturing copies for backers and pre-orders, plus a small number of extras to cover any errors during production. It will not be mass produced like the Standard Hardcover, and there will not be a second print run.

When will shipping be charged?
Shipping will be collected closer to when Keld Fallen is ready to ship. We will notify backers through a BackerKit update before shipping charges are processed, so please keep your payment information up to date. We will be unable to ship physical items if shipping cannot be charged.

I pre-ordered an already-manufactured physical item. When will I receive it?
To help reduce shipping costs, all physical items will ship together when Keld Fallen is ready for fulfillment. If you would like an already-manufactured physical item shipped sooner, you may request early fulfillment by contacting [email protected]. Please note that early fulfillment will require separate shipping charges, meaning you will pay shipping for the early item now and shipping for your remaining Keld Fallen items later.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
Estimated Completion of Project
IO Publishing will make good faith estimates regarding when Keld Fallen will be completed and when fulfillment will begin. However, project timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Development, production, manufacturing, shipping, and fulfillment timelines may change due to circumstances outside of our control, including factory errors, manufacturing delays, freight delays, customs delays, carrier issues, or other shipping-related problems.
Our goal is to deliver the best version of Keld Fallen possible, and timelines may change in order to preserve the quality of the final product.
Project Development and Final Content
IO Publishing will make every reasonable effort to deliver Keld Fallen in line with the vision presented during the BackerKit campaign. However, the final version of Keld Fallen may change throughout development, editing, production, and playtesting. The completed book may differ from preview materials, sample PDFs, campaign descriptions, or earlier versions of the project, including through the addition, replacement, revision, or removal of content.
These changes may be made to improve balance, clarity, cohesion, quality, production feasibility, or the overall experience of the final product. Our goal is to release the best version of Keld Fallen possible, even if that means the project evolves over time.
Payment, Refunds, and Shipping
If you pre-order a Keld Fallen Hardcover Book, Keld Fallen Digital PDF, or Keld Fallen Foundry VTT Module from our pre-order store and choose to join the Keld Fallen Playtest Discord, your order will be charged immediately in order to provide access to the playtest materials.
All other pre-orders from our pre-order store will be charged when the Keld Fallen Digital PDF is complete and distributed to backers and pre-order customers.
Refunds are generally not available once an order has been charged, as funds are used for the continued development, production, and fulfillment of the project.
If a backer downgrades their pledge level, no refund will be issued. Instead, a credit for the price difference will be applied to the backer’s survey. Any unclaimed credit cannot be refunded once the pre-order shop has closed. The pre-order shop will close when manufacturing of physical items begins, which is expected to occur soon after the Keld Fallen Digital PDF is released to backers and pre-order customers.
Shipping will be charged closer to when we are ready to begin fulfillment of physical goods. Backers are responsible for keeping their payment information and shipping address up to date. We are unable to ship physical goods if shipping has not been collected.
IO Publishing is not responsible for lost, delayed, or undeliverable packages caused by outdated, incorrect, or incomplete shipping addresses provided by the backer.
After six months of fulfillment, if a backer pre-ordered a Keld Fallen Hardcover Book, the Keld Fallen Digital PDF has already been delivered or made available, and we have been unable to charge the backer for shipping due to incorrect or outdated payment information, IO Publishing may only provide a partial refund equal to the pledge value of the Hardcover Book minus the pledge value of the Digital PDF.
